Yep. Within an hour of my dealer submitting my order my Ford.com updated.@ZackDanger did your online Ford account update to show your reservation converted to an order? Mine does not, that’s why I’m asking. My order summary from my dealer also doesn’t list invoice, only MSRP.
First question is, what’s the priority number at the top of your order summary?
There’s a couple (relatively) benign reasons why yours may not have:
1. The Ford.com acct is not part of the ordering system, so there’s a chance the info just didn’t get pushed over.
2. If your order was submitted to Ford, but it had a 99 priority code. When a dealer submits an order but enters a priority code 99 which means “do not build”... and identifies your order as basically a place holder. This would be what they should do if you indicated you wanted to wait for a MY22 Bronco. If and when the priority code is changed then Ford treats it as a regular order to build when they can. Assuming you want a MY21 Bronco (or at least get it as soon as they can build it), this scenario would be remedied by checking in with your dealer and making sure the priority is correct. (There are some reports of the system automatically applying a 99 to orders, but I would hound your dealer to change it).
3. Lastly, they may have just not submitted your build to Ford. No good reason to delay past when you’re ready to order, but it’s possible to basically save a draft order in the system without sending it to Ford. My dealer did this, showed me the order summary sheet, and then when I confirmed it was what I wanted he submitted it to Ford. When he submitted it is when my Ford.com profile changed. (Your dealer could be playing a game where they are not planning on submitting your order right away...)
(There’s a possibility that instead of converting your reservation they just entered a new order into the system not tied to you. That would be weird. But technically possible... if that’s the case they would just need to cancel that one and convert your reservation)
Whatever the issue is, you should definitely reach out to your dealer and inquire. Make sure it gets sorted out because it could be nothing, but worth sorting. If it is something nefarious, you should know about it sooner rather than later.
And to the invoice price... not all order summaries show it. It’s a toggle on the dealer end. Mine shows it because the offer I’m getting from my dealer is based off Invoice. If your negotiation/offer is based off of MSRP, they wouldn’t have a reason to show invoice.
