@ZackDanger did your online Ford account update to show your reservation converted to an order? Mine does not, that’s why I’m asking. My order summary from my dealer also doesn’t list invoice, only MSRP.
Yep. Within an hour of my dealer submitting my order my Ford.com updated.

First question is, what’s the priority number at the top of your order summary?

There’s a couple (relatively) benign reasons why yours may not have:

1. The Ford.com acct is not part of the ordering system, so there’s a chance the info just didn’t get pushed over.

2. If your order was submitted to Ford, but it had a 99 priority code. When a dealer submits an order but enters a priority code 99 which means “do not build”... and identifies your order as basically a place holder. This would be what they should do if you indicated you wanted to wait for a MY22 Bronco. If and when the priority code is changed then Ford treats it as a regular order to build when they can. Assuming you want a MY21 Bronco (or at least get it as soon as they can build it), this scenario would be remedied by checking in with your dealer and making sure the priority is correct. (There are some reports of the system automatically applying a 99 to orders, but I would hound your dealer to change it).

3. Lastly, they may have just not submitted your build to Ford. No good reason to delay past when you’re ready to order, but it’s possible to basically save a draft order in the system without sending it to Ford. My dealer did this, showed me the order summary sheet, and then when I confirmed it was what I wanted he submitted it to Ford. When he submitted it is when my Ford.com profile changed. (Your dealer could be playing a game where they are not planning on submitting your order right away...)

(There’s a possibility that instead of converting your reservation they just entered a new order into the system not tied to you. That would be weird. But technically possible... if that’s the case they would just need to cancel that one and convert your reservation)

Whatever the issue is, you should definitely reach out to your dealer and inquire. Make sure it gets sorted out because it could be nothing, but worth sorting. If it is something nefarious, you should know about it sooner rather than later.

And to the invoice price... not all order summaries show it. It’s a toggle on the dealer end. Mine shows it because the offer I’m getting from my dealer is based off Invoice. If your negotiation/offer is based off of MSRP, they wouldn’t have a reason to show invoice.

Thanks for the detailed response. My priority is 13. I am curious, and somewhat worried, that he somehow didn’t tie my reservation to the order. Not sure how possible or likely that is. Below is my order summary and email confirmation. Something just didn’t seem right and I’ve only had challenges with this dealer. I’ll touch base with him on Monday.

I would definitely follow up. You can also call Ford customer service (the Number listed in the Bronco FAQ... it goes directly to the correct team) who may be able to see things on their end and determine whether it’s just a Ford.com problem.

It could be something totally benign, but definitely worth looking into.

My dealer ordered mine on January 20th here in Canada and I didn’t get a confirmation email either, they assured me the bronco is still ordered despite not getting an email I attached the sheet I got from my salesman. What do you think?

When it comes to not receiving the confirmation email, there’s two scenarios:

1. Order wasn’t submitted or was submitted with a 99 code.

2. It just got lost in the ether someplace.

Scenario #2 is much more common and many people on the forum have experienced this.

If your Ford.com account shows your reservation is now an order, and you have the order summary (as you do), and the only thing you didn’t get was the email, then I would not worry.

I would encourage people to check in with your dealer and confirm that the Order Summary preview they showed you did actually get submitted... My dealer showed me the summary, and once I confirmed it was accurate, that’s when he submitted it.... but it sounds like they’ve already confirmed that for you.

I would want to sort out why you didn’t get the email so you didn’t miss future ones, and it could be anything from spam filtering to an incorrect email address in your account... but it could just be a fluke on Ford’s end. As I mentioned before, the system that generates that email is a different one than the actual ordering system, so there are numerous ways the chain from order submission to email sitting in your inbox could go wrong.

(the email is a very very spammy looking email. If your filter system is aggressive, or you’re used to just deleting a ton of emails a day without looking at them closely, it’d be easily misidentified)

When I log into my Ford.com account, it still just says my base model reservation, not my badlands order.

If our data for the US orders is any indication, that to me suggests that they didn’t actually submit the order or the priority was changed to 99 on submission, or they submitted a new order not tied to your reservation.

I would reach back out to your dealer, explain to them that your online account is not reflecting an order and you did not receive a confirmation email, and you would like them to supply you with the actual order confirmation from their ordering system. (WBDO / DORA)

If it shows that it is submitted, then the question is why is that not reflected in your account. I would call the Bronco customer service (the number listed in the Bronco faqs on the Ford site, not the general Ford number), explain to them the situation, and see if they can shed any light on whether your order is tied to your reservation.

I converted my reservation to an order on January 22 and received an email from Ford confirming my order last week (2/22). Curious if others have received a similar confirmation? I would imagine these are rolling out to those who have completed their order.

IMG_3188.jpg
My order was made on the 1/27, but I got the confirmation e-mail from Ford on 2/2.
What’s interesting to me is under the Reservations & Orders portion of my Ford account, it actually shows the “order” going in on 1/19!

then again, that might not have been updated from my reservation because it doesn’t align with my Ford confirmation e-mail

I already told them about that, again they assured me the order is submitted the same way they ordered the bronco sports

Hmmmm. Yeah. I didn’t see a number on the Canadian side.

Here’s the number on the US side that goes directly to the people handling the reservations here.

Ford Customer Experience Representative at 800-392-3673 (Ford U.S.)

Not sure what luck you’ll have.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, I got the same thing the next day from Ford. It did take a couple of days for it to update on my ford account tho.

Now that order banks are open, your dealer can go in whenever they want and “convert” your reservation directly into exactly whatever order you want.

When the order is submitted to Ford by the dealer, Ford automatically generates that the email with whatever was in the order... but the email is just a summary and does not necessarily include all options on the order.

Your dealer may be handling things differently... requiring a deposit before they touch anything... submitting the wrong order right away and then going back in later to edit it... or telling you they have submitted it but haven’t (otherwise you’d get the email right away)... but regardless of how they’re handling it, what they told you is not universally or exactly true. FYI.
Thanks, that‘S that is why on stayed on it until I received the confirmation from FORD detailing exactly what I ordered.

I contacted them, the lady on the phone said she can only see reservations and not orders, and to contact my dealer, not sure what to do to make sure it’s entered correctly.
