Ford OEM Slide out tailgate

I’m debating between OEM slide out and BROADDICT’s. Has anyone mounted a fridge slide to the top of the OEM? That would make it so much better for camping. Just putt in RIVNUTS so it’s easily removable. Just want to ensure the top of the tailgate (cover) is strong enough. I do t think I’d have tailgate table fitment issues like you have with Broaddict’s. I like my tailgate table (Bison Gear).

The cargo area floor doesn’t move with the Ford slide out tailgate. You would have to remove it to mount anything to the slide out tailgate itself. The Ford OEM one is significantly stronger in terms of weight capacity (600lbs) than any aftermarket version.

Yup…. That why mounting my fridge slide to the top would be nice. Seen videos where it doesn’t interfere with drop down tailgate tables.
