Good morning folks,

Nice to meet you all!

Earlier this week I placed an order for a Bronco Badlands, and am very excited as this is my first Ford vehicle and first "factory ordered" vehicle.

The dealership I have placed my order with seems... not super knowledgeable unfortunately. I was wondering if someone on here can shed some light on when/how they got their build to show up on their Ford.ca account, under "reservations/orders"? Did you need to provide the dealership with some information to have it linked, how long did it take to show up on here, etc.?

Thanks very much for your time. Looking forward to being a member here :)

Mine was changed from Reservation Number to Order Number the same day, well they entered the order in the morning and soon after it had changed on my ford.ca account, still shows the incorrect image of a 2DR BD but updated to Badlands, says Order and I've called Ford.ca to confirm that is my Badlands 4DR but I'm opting for a MY22 now so emailed them to code it 99.

Thank you. My order doesn't show up anything on here right now - My question is more around how do I get it to show up? Is there specific info I need to provide the dealership to let them know I have a Ford.ca account?

Appreciate your time.

I think you mean first ordered from the factory, unless all of your previous vehicles here hand made in your garage.

Did you have a reservation before you ordered or were you a walk-in? If you had a reservation it should have already been in there. It couldn't hurt to call them.

I walked into the dealership and placed the order. I did reach out to them, but the sales person (who ironically is also related to the owner) did not know, and was shocked when I told her there is a spot on the Ford.ca account that should show orders/reservations.

So that's what I'm up against... lol

I think you mean “all your previous vehicles WERE hand made in your garage”. A typo in a correction post is always fair game. :)

Hmm, I went the reservation route so it was attached when I reserved, placing my in-store order merely changed it from reservation or order status automatically, I mean when they submit your order into the bank it would automatically update had you had a reservation, but for new walk in sales I'm not too sure, probably wont see a change until MY22 build and price rolls around or even after that? 2/3's of everyone basically got pushed back to MY22 anyways and that's my plan as well.

If you walked into the dealership without a previous reservation then you will not be getting your Bronco in 2021. (unless they have a cancellation, then they will sell you someone else's previously ordered Bronco). Which means your dealer probably has not even submitted your order. Options are going to change for 2022, so you will probably have to go back to the dealer and revise your order after the 2022 options come out.

What dealer did you go to?

BTW welcome to the forum.

The interesting thing is, two people at the dealership mentioned I would get my Bronco by the Summer, however with my experience with this dealership already, I'm not holding my breath unless they had zero reservations/orders, which I doubt.

Not quite ready to throw them fully under the bus yet unless they can't provide a solid update today, as they promised. I'll let you guys know.

And thank you for the welcome :)

Sorry to tell you, you definitely won't be getting your vehicle this summer. They are either very out of the loop on the facts or they are feeding you a bunch of lies to get you to order from them.

Reservations opened in July last year. The amount of reservations made were well over the number of Broncos that Ford is able to produce in one year. The cut off for getting a Bronco in 2021 was to have a reservation in by Oct 2020, and even then you were not guaranteed to get one in 2021 with all the late availability items.

Typical timeline was that you made a reservation at Ford for the Bronco placing the $100 reservation hold and identified your dealership. The dealer was to contact individuals to convert orders (based on reservation timelines?) based on Build & Price submissions. Once entered into the system by the dealer, these orders show up in the customer’s Ford account as an order number and date. From here Ford shall supposedly contact customers to provide build dates sometime in April/May. So now we’re all in limbo til the next “official” communication to see if we will receive a MY21 or get pushed back to MY22+. 😐

So I just heard back from the dealership. They told me it wouldn't show my order on Ford.ca's account due to it being placed at the dealership as a walk-in. I guess I can believe that...

The other comment was I should still receive a MY21 because they used a prior reservation and changed it to my order as that customer had backed out of wanting one. Not sure if that's legit or not, but would be odd they'd say that without it being true... I guess I'll have to wait and see.

That is possible, but I hope they know that their are penalties from Ford for not converting original reservations to the original reservation holder.

Ask them to send you a copy of your Vehicle Order confirmation form from the dealer and your order number from Ford
