Ford Accessory Bronco Console Vault Does Not Fit

Hello everyone - new bronco owner here. I picked up my 2021 Wildtrack First Edition a little over two months ago, and I've been going a little off the deep end with accessories. One I was looking forward to adding was the console vault. I've been hesitant to pull the trigger but found one online (eBay) from a highly rated dealer just a couple of states over. Good price and package looked to only be opened for pictures.

It arrived a couple weeks ago - I had time last weekend to install but something's off. According to the part number and a sticker on the underside of the latch, it's a Ford product (even every video I look at has the same design), but this thing will absolutely not fit in my console. I wanted to see if anyone knows of two/various models for this product. Everything I read (even on Ford Accessories site) shows this as the model that fits - there's just no way.

Anyone else have/had this experience?

This is the video I should have watched first....and I watched a few. This is correct and - just like @Alsvior suggested, too.

TIL - I'm not a professional accessory installer, but I seem to know where to look for help. Thanks y'all.

Should someone that can not intuitively figure this out -
Have access to what these are designed to cary?

That looks just like mine.
I installed mine a few weeks ago, but if I remember right, the cavity in the console is bigger than the opening. Try dropping it in diagonally, then turn it into place.

edit: but maybe I should look at mine again when I get home…

I ended up calling suport and you have to angle it in. Felt stupid afterwards how easy it went in.
