I also got an email about the delay from my dealer... which is good I guess, since I haven’t heard much... anyway:

“Good Day New Ford Bronco Enthusiast,

I just want to reach out as I am sure there have been several different rumors out there as to the ordering process of these units New Ford Broncos. Last update from Ford we have received here at the dealership is reservation to converted finalized order will be open mid-January 2021 and that is when we can submit the converted orders to the Ford manufacturing plant.

You may have received an email from me back in October, unless it went to spam box; letting you know the Build & Price tool was open and available on www.Ford.com. There's plenty of time to build the Bronco several different ways to know which one is going to be the right one for you. This will give you the pricing as well based on what options you chose for your build. If you choose to use the build and price on Ford.com, save a copy of the summary sheet and email it to me so that once the ordering opens I can input the order for you. I will send you a copy of the build request for your approval. Once I have your signature/approval of the finalized order, the order will be submitted to Ford.

DO NOT PANIC, as we have until March 19, 2021 to convert your reservation to an order. The build order for your Bronco will be determined by your reservation date only and will start to arrive Summer 2021 .

If you have any questions or if you want to come in to the store to finalize your order please do not hesitate to call, text, or email me with a day and time that works best for you. Have a great day and like you I am getting more and more excited to receive my New Ford Bronco as well. “

I am envious. I got the initial email from the alleged dealer rep when I made my deposit.. he has failed to follow-up or answer any questions.. good luck..

That is one of the worst form letters ever, they could have at least personalized it a bit for someone who is waiting a year and can also switch dealers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe that we have until 3/19/21 to switch our reservations from one dealer to another. Seems like most dealers leave that part out. LOL

I am thinking Ford delegated the communication piece to dealers, which is why we have heard nothing from Ford, and dealers, being dealers, are taking their sweet time with getting the message out.
