If it doesn't fit send it back the end of the pipe is expanded to fit over after you remove the muffler.
The hardest part is fishing the nuts inside the bumper through a hole just use a magnet ,mine took 1/2 hour and that includes unboxing .
Wait the pipe they give you fits over the other?.... Yeah they say the opposite (if that's what you are saying)

If i remember the outlaw pipe is expanded larger on the end ,that fits over the exsting pipe left after you remove the stock muffler
The directions say to run a couple of welds to keep it from moving but the clamp keeps it tight .
What does the pipe look like on the end opposite of the chrome tip?

Yeah lol. Fitting it over the existing one is what logically made sense to me.... Problem is that's impossible. The band clamp over the muffler is tack welded onto the existing one. So if this was designed for the bronco then that would have been thought of. That's just one problem. The other was that lethal performance told me to fit this into the existing one not over it after I presented the issue. I got it to work.... Somehow but now I had to break the weld on the band clamp to make it work. It's very stupid and I shouldn't have had to deal with such poorly thought out design, misinformation, and over all reluctance to give a refund.

Thanks for giving me details on your experience btw. It's answering a couple of questions I had.

It should have that bulge on the attaching end

Yup. I was just told to insert it into the existing one,not over it. I was going to put it over but like I said before the tack welded band clamp prevented that ,so I called and they said spread the existing exhaust wings and insert it. I'm going to reinstall it properly this week since the band in now free from the tack weld. It has been a pain.

Lol. I called and they are going to see if they can get the refund but if not I'm just going to bite the bullet and get a muffler shop to install it for $90. (Only place I could find)
