Flood ESP Warranty

I purchased an ESP through Flood. The price seemed very reasonable, ~$1500, for an 8 year/100k warranty. Plus as I was checking out I noticed I was able to apply my 42k Ford Pass points to my purchase which took care of $210 of the price.

I figured with Bronco's being a new model vehicle, the peace of mind is worth it.

Anyone else taking out extended warranties?

Granger ESP beats Flood's prices. Granger is selling @ $50 over cost.

I have gotten quotes from all three (Flood, Ziegler, and Granger) and they were all within a few dollars of each other. Those 3 are the main competitors on price. I used Ziegler.
Lots of threads on Ford ESP warranty with lots of opinions all over the spectrum. Years and years ago I didn't buy extended warranties (mostly because only available through dealers who charged absurd dollars and easy to make own repairs) but for such a vehicle new to the market with so much software and electrics and with costs of repair being crazy these days, it was a no brainer to get the Ford ESP at such good prices from one of those three. A single out of standard warranty repair is likely to cover most of the cost of the ESP.

I did the same. Used my Ford Pass points and paid around $1k.It was a good deal compared to what the dealer wanted. All it takes is one service or part to pay for itself.
