First Edition Navy Interior - Love it or hate it?

Are you still buying an FE if the only interior option is Navy?

People that are voting yes hit the wrong button or are skewing the results lol :cautious:
LOL. That is the problem. People that did not lock First Editions are skewings the results. The poll is for those of us that are in this position.
Sad but True. Their probally laughing at us saying, don't want it don't take it, the guy right behind you will buy it. And for the folks that don't buy one, well they're still going to take one of our other models. They know all 7000 will be sold within the first couple month of release. I'm betting alot of folks will stay with their FE reservation if in fact it's alot more money to option out a Badlands or Wildtrak. After all we hate parting with our hard earned money or at least I do.
To be honest you are probably right. This whole WE ARE LISTENING means we hear you but we do not care what you want LOL. There are definitely enough customers out there that will settle for the BLUE DEATH.

I’m on the fence especially at $65k. Either way I’m getting a bronco, we’ll see when online builds open, stick with FE or use my backup reservation.

This isn’t my first purchase of a launch edition. I snagged a 2015 Alfa 4C and they did amazing with the interior.

We all get that Ford wants First Editions to stand out and be different. Me too. That is what the hood and side graphics as well as the trim badge are for. Most of the time people will not see the interior. If Ford wants to mass produce something for the interior then make it something most people would want. Not something most people hate.

I think a good number of people won’t be very happy about the navy interior.

There are plenty of big Bronco fans on here saying they’ll drop their reservation if it’s only navy.

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...love-it-or-hate-it-theres-no-in-between.2555/

And The rest of the First Edition market is mostly the people who just get the most expensive trim for a car. But even these guys just don’t buy that car if they don’t like it when it gets in (considering Range Rover, Mercedes, etc. buyers) and will just buy another.

It genuinely seems that if Ford forces the navy interior, there will be a good number of First Editions sitting on lots while the people who would’ve otherwise bought them up wait for one with a better interior or just move on to a different off-roader vehicle altogether.

Since we can’t swap dealerships (and it seems that we can’t change trim out of the First Edition) without canceling losing our place in line, I won’t be getting a Bronco if they Force that navy interior on us.

If I have to cancel my reservation, it’s staying that way.
I too am hoping for more interior trim options. That said, Ford has said that you can change your reservation at the time of order from a FE to another model. They have also confirmed that they will be allowing for dealer changes and will be updating the website to allow this down the road, but prior to the ordering window opening.

Your other point I completely agree with. Ford needs to understand those of us with FE reservations wanted something unique and something well appointed. Also, the theme of hte Bronco is "Customizable". So, combine that with this price point and you get a lot of confusion why they can't at least give us a few options.

My opinion (and we all have them) is that the interior WILL be visible, A LOT!!! With removable doors and top, it needs to be as awesome and unique as the rest of the vehicle. I will have mine in that configuration almost all summer (maybe with a soft top), and people will see the inside very clearly. PLUS, it is what I will see more than the outside. I want to say WOW every time I get in my new Bronco!!!

True good point. Forgot about considering the the doors and top being taken off. Thanks for pointing that out. You are right.

You said it best yourself... speculation.

You have zero hard facts... why create a poll?

As ALL of the people in the know have said repeatedly. Let the details come to light then decide.
As of yesterday, Ford CONFIRMED that the "Naval Pier" interior is there only currently planned interior (although there has been other chatter from less reliable sources that there would be) AND that they are listening.

Summary - Hard fact is that "Naval Pier" is all they are planning -AND- the poll is needed to give back to Ford who says "They are listening."

Where is the dislike button on here LOL?
You're gonna want to steer clear of 90's Mitsubishis, then:

If switching out of the FE, would you guess that our changed orders are in the same build order as if we got the FE, or do we go to the back of the line of the people who reserved our newly selected trim in the first place? As an example, if I was FE #3000, but switch to Badlands where by December 10,000 were already reserved, do I become #10,001 in build order, or would my order get sorted in between based on time my FE reservation was made or total reservation location in sequence?
I am betting that FEs will be First if Ford is doing this right. But who knows? They could be last. I think deliveries will all be based on how they are planning their production. They don't want to do too many line changes, hold too much material, etc. Even with Just-in-time production techniques, keeping the variation down improves quality, etc. So my guess is that we would get lumped in with the model series that we pick in the order we made the reservation. (Fingers crossed).

Ultimately, I want what I want and if I need to wait, so be it!

In a few places, it says the First edition has the rubber floor with drains as well but with carpet floor mats.

Exactly. I love the concept of carpet mats that I can leave home with the doors and top for offroad adventures. Hopefully Ford does not change that!!!!
