Hate to burst your bubble but currently Tesla has no Federal EV tax credits and they don’t run rebates. You can extend your lease. Most automakers are allowing it with covid. Check out a wrangler rubicon 4XE. Those actually qualify for the tax credit. They’re pretty quick and you still get top and doors off.
I’m in California and the state has a ton of initiatives. Off the bat free wall charger. $1500 off purchase price amongst other initiatives . ✋ 🎤

I’m over the games with Ford and the uncertainty of when I’ll get my FE.

I just found out when I switched dealers they canceled my Wildtrack reservation and the new dealer was holding my $1k deposit for 4 months!!!

No FE production email, my lease is up in Oct, gas prices in Cali are $5, I’m going EV and getting all the available rebates for a Tesla.

This wasn’t what I envisioned a year ago when I created this thread but I guess there’s reason why I never bought a Ford.
As a Tesla owner several times over, good choice.

But, kind of surprised you didn't already account for the variability of fuel prices when ordering what was obviously a very thirsty vehicle from day 1. It's not like gas prices have never been this high before...

For me, Tesla + Bronco is the perfect pair. BEV for commuting, short road trips. Bronco for fun.

I’m not worried about the gas prices it just adds more fuel to the fire, too many cons at this point.

The Bronco was supposed to be a fun car for my wife and kid, it’s their DD, the fun is now gone.

I didn't read all the recent comments.. but.. I own a Model S and have my FE on order. I will enjoy the pair until the Cybertruck comes out at which point I will sell either the Bronco or the Tesla for the CT. Wife loves the Bronco so I think my beautiful MS will be the one to get the boot unfortunately.

Are any of you going to be purchasing dealer/ford warranties?
