First Batch Slipstream by Diabolical Inc. (small review)

Just installed my @Diabolical Inc Slipstream. Some quick initial thoughts...

1) If you buy one...follow the install video step by step. It's very tedious and time consuming...but not physically difficult.

2) I'm very impressed so far. The modularity really stands out vs other security enclosures I have seen.

3) Materials (powder coated) are excellent. If someone wants to get inside this thing they'll need your keyfob, a crowbar or sledgehammer.

4) I have noticed my sound system is muffled due to some of the speakers being enclosed. Not terrible but slightly noticeable. Might drive it with the top flipped up and then lock it down if needed.

5) No squeaks so far.

I do not notice any audio issues. I did have squeeks and light rattles due to the pins. I replaced them with nuts and bolts and it is now quiet. I will plasti dip the pins and re-install them on the top section.

It's really not that much of an impact. It wouldn't stop me from buying the Slipstream again.

I can...but it's negligible and worth it considering the security you gain with the enclosure.

It looks like this has more coverage / panels on the top than the Ford enclosure that I currently have installed - is there a way or have you experimented with waterproofing the top of your enclosure?

The only thing that’s waterproof is the hard/soft top.

it’s just not possible, the cost to make something waterproof would be twice what is currently is.
