Finally got around to some of the wiring for my DV8 bumper install. I purchased a Rigid 20" Radiance + lightbar, which allows you to chose different color backlighting. This is my first attempt at adding lights into the aux switches and it went over like a fart in church.

I'll have to contact SPV on Monday for some tech support. I used one of their Marker Adapter harnesses to power the backlights, a lightbar wiring harness and a switch wire to change the backlight color. Then I patched into Aux switch #6 for power to the lightbar. The driving light in the lightbar is working correctly with the Aux switch. The backlights do turn on when I start the truck, but when I press the switch wire button to program the backlight color, I lose backlight power to the bar and to the side marker on the passenger headlight where the Marker Adapter patches in. I can turn off the lights using the stock light switch in the cabin and the backlight will turn back on when I move the switch to running lights or full headlights on. Oddly enough, I can even cycle the backlight color with the cabin light switch by turning it on and off rapidly, like the switch wire button is intended to work.

So, not sure what's wrong here - maybe the ground is not right or I've got the switch button wired incorrectly. I'll update again when I get it right, but here are a couple photos.
