Finally installed soft top- weird gap in trunk?

What alignment hardware are you referring to? And no you have something too high ours seals properly. In the one photo you have a lot of adjustment in the bracket that is bolted to the body near the tailgate.

If i recall - the mounting plate with the pins that’s behind the one you show in the pic is held on with 2 bolts.

You will have to at least pull the 3 bolts that hold the soft top out and lift the soft top up high enough to get at those bolts behind it to loosen them up to slide the bracket down a touch.

It can be done, but if you have the help its a lot easier to just pull it off all the way, do the adjustment and then set it back on. It’s very easy to scratch the crap out of the C-pillars (ask me how I know)

Don’t worry about the alignment tool - the three bolts to pull the softop do not do anything to any of the alignment - that’s why it sets on the pins. The plate behind with the pins will though - and it needs adjustment manually anyway.

Can you detach the rear of the ST on both sides, lift it up to the point where you can get to the bolts of the alignment plate, loosen those bolts just enough that the weight of the ST will move the plate into it's natural position, and then tighten them up again? Sorry, I don't know what the plate looks like as mine was set up by the dealer the first time I had it installed (mine was ordered as a dual top).

Hey all, fixed my issue. Got around to taking the soft top off yesterday. The bracket actually moved.
