Yeah, not really sure what we are going to do yet. Its going to depend mostly on market demand whether or not we produce 2 door sliders. That and actually getting a 2 door to prototype on... We have a couple offerings for the Jeeps, but the demand is very small compared to the 4 door.
Well off to look somewhere else for slides/step for my 2 door. Who knew owning the best looking Bronco would make it so hard to get proper gear.

Do the holes on the step have a roughed up edge to provide some sort of slip protection? From the photo it looks like it could get a little greasy with the limited surface area for the foot.

looks to me like a dimple die from the bottom- meaning every hole has an upturned edge. Should be great for traction on the steps, as long as there’s a gap somewhere for the step cutout to drain. I’m assuming they have that covered.

That's what i thought, but hard to tell from pictures. Not a lot of surface area for the step, so traction becomes even more important.

All of our sliders are frame mounted, there has to be a minimum of about 3/4" gap between the slider and the body. This is to account for the slight flex in the slider, and the body roll on the frame. It also helps because the body is not perfectly centered on the frame, we see a lot of this with the Jeeps. If the slider is too close, the body will move into the slider and get damaged. It doesn't seem like it should, but the Jeep body moves a lot relative to the frame!
im not talking moving the slider up vertically (farther from the ground/closer to the rocker).. I’m talking about the front edge of the rocker being forward enough that it’s even with the front edge of the body so those of us that want to can close the gap with a strip of rubber or whatever, screwed to the flare and slider, to completely close the opening.

I’m probably kicking a dead horse here… people are always so concerned about the front of the slider having this huge taper on it, but on the bronco platform that means blasting the side with rocks.

I’m hoping someone will do a tube style slider (like your sig series which I love) but with a front shape that’s close to 90 degrees to the body. May turn out to not exist and I’ll have to do something custom.

Anyone who has seen sales numbers on Jeep’s since 2003. Lol There’s such a huge disparity between the popularity of the 2.

Oof. That’s less than I spent on mine.
I wouldn’t trust a $350 set of rock rails to protect my Bronco anyways, if that’s what you are getting them to do

Eh, that’s my fourth reason for them. Not doing crazy rock crawling. I needed a step first, something to prevent rocks from kicking up with my Sasquatch tires second, protection from door dings third then the occasional rock I may get caught up against last. I will be going off road occasionally, but not hardcore crawling. I got the Go Rhino Dominator D6 and think it will be a good solution for that. Installing them this week.
