What does order processing, No hold mean? I got the order confirmation email same day I ordered from Ford, but nothing since.

Ordered a 4 door outer banks, soft top, lux on 2/7. Got a vin 3rd week on March. Scheduled for production on 5/2. I called ford to find all of this out. I never got an email from ford. Now with that being said, I have not called to see if I got bumped since that initial call.

What does order processing, No hold mean? I got the order confirmation email same day I ordered from Ford, but nothing since.

I contacted Ford by phone and was given that status by the agent.
Their description of No Hold was essentially that there were no constraints or anything holding up my order from moving forward "at this time"

Interesting. Thanks. Still no VIN though. I know it's relatively meaningless, but still want a VIN.

VIN would actually mean you were scheduled for production

Ordered 2/28/22. Asked my dealer for something else the next day and they said my build date is 5/2/22 and gave me my VIN. Just chatted today with Ford and they said the build date is the same.

I tried waiting as long as I could to not call the dealership... Although, I have been checking the backdoor almost daily hoping for any update. I've been in order accepted and processing almost for a while now. My curiosity finally got the best of me yesterday and I called my dealer to see if he could see any update on his end and he basically just said "no update" and said to expect an email whenever there was a change. He basically gave me the ole "don't call us, we will call you" routine.

Got the confirmation email from Ford 2 days after ordering. It showed Order Accepted, nothing new has come across. What number for Ford Customer Service have Bronco Customers been calling for status updates?

To date I have avoiding calling the dealership I ordered from or Ford because I do not have much hope it will be in production or scheduled only 2 months after ordering considering the semiconductor chip and MIC constraints. That's not a complaint; I have accepted that I might be in this for the long haul. I'm just trying to be realistic and keep my expectations in check.

I've been avoiding bugging the dealer too, but just emailed them yesterday asking if he could give me any information regarding their Bronco allocations. I've not heard back yet. I'm somehow expecting late June for mine for some hopeful reason.
