FE Order Issues?

My dealer today, "I will contact you as soon as Ford post prices on First Editions, as of now still not showing. In any case you have until March 18th but again, as soon as they show me that info I will contact you."

Seems similar to what everyone else is seeing/hearing.

btw, black interior and black dual tops here.

@DealerInsider are there legit issues with FE orders?

I know this mannnn...but,it showed as an option when ordering...I was not going to possibly not get them... he said I would not be charged for them if they are standard...not much I don't know at this point...but thanks....

Rock rails are standard on the FE

based on Mach-E, FE weren't buildable in WBDO (the order came over directly from the reservation), probably bc they were sold out...based on Bronco Sport FE (which wasn't sold out), they showed (and still do) as buildable but only as a Retail Sold Order...I don't have any Bronco FE reservations but they aren't buildable in WBDO (like Mach-E)...I can build Bronco FE in CONCEPS old school, but it doesn't give me any base pricing...it does list both interior colors (LTHR STS BLACK & LTHR STS GR/NVY) and 4 options ($100 engine block heater, $2495 Dual Top Black, $1895 Hard Top Black, $1795 Dual Top MIC

My dealer was able to convert my FE to an actual order this morning, but is unable to make any selections as far as color, interior, roof. They're order guy said all he can do is check each day until it let's him.

Same issue for me. My reservation is converted to an order, but I wasn't able to make changes. I'm pretty sure that our planet is still spinning and in orbit.

Yep just tried to lock in my order and couldn't because of the black top. Was told gotta wait til end of the week. No biggie

So got the call from my dealer to walk through getting my reservation converted to an order. Apparently the system does not currently support downgrading from First Edition currently either. He said it would be about a week before we could modify it to the optioned out Badlands spec I really want. Hurry up and wait protocol in full effect, first world probs I guess. On the plus side I'm #1 at my dealership!

To pre-empt why downgrade questions, the main reason is MGV and washout interior, followed by tow package availability. I would be paranoid of getting caught in the rain with the top off and getting leather and carpet wet if I went FE. The whole idea for me getting a Bronco is to take the top off and I don't want anything to limit me from doing that as much as possible.

As for the tow package, I am downgrading from a full size pickup, so the ability to haul a utility trailer is critical to me adjusting to a different type of vehicle and capabilities.

Thanks for this post. I'm trying to do the same thing for the same reasons and wasn't sure what was going on. I'm also #1 at my dealer.
