Anybody from Portland/Vancouver area that has a favorite trail they wouldn't mind sharing?

I've gone around LoLo Pass near Mt. Hood, Larch Mountain, wonder a little bit in Gifford Pinchot forest. Even went out to Walker Valley ORV when i was at my familys house. Trying to stay local within 1.5 hours. water crossing and/or view points is a plus.

I’ve seen this posted in a few different places and nobody seems to answer. I’m new to this and would love to know some places to go.

I’m in Vancouver. I would love to do some stuff like at the off roadeo but not too hardcore. I ventured out a little in Jones Creek but didn’t go too far.

Did you go to off rodeo event? I had family in town so I missed out. North side of jones creek on larch mountain has some nice views during sunsets. On the other side of the mountain is a nice rut area about 25mins worth to drive over and all dirt not gravel. Day after it rains makes it muddy/puddles. 45.78094, -122.24355 plug that into maps. Take it all the way down to sunset campsite or vice versa.

or if you go east on highway 14 exit Carson city, their backroads is section 1-2 of wabdr. Great waterFalls, ice caves, and dispersed camping for attraction mixed with dirt/gravel roads.

also try sand lake dunes near tillamook. It’s a lot closer than Florence but a lot smaller

I’ve been to sand lake with my dirt bike many years ago. That’s not my cup of tea but the wabdr sounds fun.
