The OBX rims looks like ones found on Jeep. They are also crappy looking. It will be my first time spending over 60k for a vehicle and not getting a rim choice. Let’s not even get into the interior options. What happened to the slogan “ Ford Has A Better Idea “ ????????????????????

Another reason I'm going base. Can't decide between Cactus Gray and A51? Get a base, then you don't have to. Don't like tire/wheel combos? Get a base, and go get exactly what you want after. Sure, you miss out on some tech upgrades and such but I'm here for open-top shenanigans, not tech. Everything else can be done later.

While I see a lot of people claim this, I have yet to see Ford identify the;

Wheels
17" Black High Gloss-Painted Aluminum Wheels | $995 (taken from BL build and price)

as beadlock capable.

Might want to verify before you purchase or mistakenly perpetuate more misinformation here.
I don't care if they are actually beadlock capable, I will unlikely ever use that, but I like the look of them.

Yeah, but those aren't the same wheels.

@Drex wrote exactly what I was thinking. We have yet to see anything that definitively states that the optional BL wheels are bead-lock capable. They look like they could be, but ?‍♂

Personally, I would like to know the width of the optional wheels. I've searched, but haven't been able to find anything.

The only wheels I have really liked are the ones with the WildTrak. I am getting badlands so its not an option. I am just sticking with stock and see if they grow on me. If not, will get something aftermarket.

As Always Ford Wheel Selection SUCKS , I see a Set of Black Rino's Coming Soon , Feel much Better Since I have Vented ....... Happy Friday
Everyone can pick what wheel they want, that is why there are such massive aftermarket wheel sales. Some like OEM wheels, some don't, start shopping tirerack.com, discounttire.com, etc. and pick out the perfect wheels you like.

Totally! It's all just a bunch of indistinguishable black wheels, no variety or anything with any character. All of the factory wheels look like the dumb black aftermarket wheels that every pumped-up dude slaps on his dumb truck.

I see a Set of Black Rino's Coming Soon

Did you capitalize almost every word manually or do you have a special setting for this? I've always wondered..

This nails it in my view.

Chrome or polished wheels show their style. They pop. Even the old white steel wheels were visible and style could be added with hub caps. Black, like a shadow, just falls into the background and makes the wheels look like dark holes under a car. I think the all black trend on wheels is a waste of what is otherwise good style on the wheels produced today.

There's lots of wheel trends I didn't like but I understood. Black wheels on black tires on a black road just lacks imagination.

Now, if I could just get a set of 22 inch spinners for my Bronco......

Here is the optional bead lock capable wheels with bead lock rings installed.

From here, Ford lists as the rims as bead lock capable. Under the tire section, it shows the wheel most likely will be 17x8 with the Sasquatch rims at 17x8.5.
