Like many I am very disappointed in the “Rigid“ bumper lights on my Raptor. Doing a little research, they appear to be the Rigid SR-M series lights. I was wondering if I could just swap out the guts from a pair of Rigid SR-Ms into the factory housing?

I would put the SR-Ms on the DV8 Crash Bar Caps. I just can’t see spending $350 for the Ford kit or $400 for the SPV kit and end up with the factory lights I can do nothing with.

Any thoughts?

Ehhh kinda sorta maybe. I mean the light was built, so it can be taken apart. But that's going to be a lot of work, you'll void your warranty and most importantly is not ideal.

Why don't you check out our Baja Designs OEM Kit. The kit starts at $579 ($521.10 with the BRONCO6G coupon)

It's honestly the way to go.

But im confused on what your plan was. You have a Bronco Raptor right? What did you plan to do with those by swapping out the guts? You'd need guts from another pair of lights right? So that'll cost you money anyway.

The SR-M's that come with the Ford Raptors don't actually have regular mounting points either, so they can't really be re-used/mounted without the Ford fog bracket. They don't use traditional mounting methods.
