Exhaust condensation with AC off

I had the Bronco on for 20 minutes with the heat on but AC off while at a parking spot (wife waiting there while I ran an errand and she complained it was cold...) Anyway, when I came back I noticed a couple of puddles by the exhaust and they were dripping every few seconds. Is that normal? I understand that AC generates a bunch of condensation, but with the AC off I wonder what may be the reason....

Condensation in the exhaust is normal and has nothing to do with your a/c.

Normal. It's the same thing that happens when you take a cool glass of water outside on a hot day, just in reverse. The only time you need to worry is if you're getting thick, dense white/black/blue smoke out the tail pipe. And by thick I mean...you can't see through it thick.

Yep, H2o is a byproduct of combustion
