Reserved in September, ordered with Ravenel Ford in Ravenel SC on 1/21. Wouldn’t give a signed purchase agreement but assured me MSRP at most and that they’d honor A/Z plan. I was very concerned after all the tales from other members’ nightmare ADMs. I had everything lined up before picking up my Bronco today (Christmas Eve) to take up as little of their time as possible. I had the insurance, DL, financing all squared away. It probably could’ve been done in under 30 minutes, but the salesman and I talked crazy Bronco stories and the kids were playing in the field next to dealership. All told, it was still under an hour, Z pricing, no add ons, best car purchasing experience I’ve ever had. If you’re thinking of ordering and your close to Charleston SC, Ravenel Ford will treat you right.

It’s great that they honored MSRP, but why are dealers reluctant to give out signed documents? I can’t imagine it’s that much of a burden and really helps the consumer have peace of mind.

I honestly think it’s because they’re a small dealership in the country that mainly sells work trucks. They just never do that kind of thing, they’re known for 100 over invoice, zero add ons for their trucks. It’s why I went with them instead of Palmetto Ford. I stopped by Palmetto several months ago to see if they had a waiting list for any abandoned Bronco orders and got laughed at. The salesman then proceeded to offer me 1 of his 3 personal FEs for 120k, he’d sold the other 2 already.
