Hi All,

I've had my Bronco going on 4 months now, and about a dozen times I've had a concerning thing happen. I'll be driving along (almost always using Carplay), and then I'll suddenly hear a loud *POP* from speakers as the entertainment system goes black and audio goes dead. Then, a few seconds later, I get the Bronco logo again as the entertainment system restarts like when you turn on the car.

Gut reaction is there's a loose connection somewhere and the power is fluctuating to the system every once in a while. Anyone have any experience with this?

I have a 2024 Heritage 2 door with a manual if that makes any difference. I replaced the 6-speaker system with harnesses and no issues as soon as I got the vehicle (no changes to sub or anything) and otherwise haven't tampered with anything electrical on the car. This should make no difference, as unplugging a speaker completely does nothing to the entertainment system.

Not too terrible now, but feels like a problem that could worsen if a loose connection gets... looser.

Sounds like something is loose. The "pop" and blank screen should be the same thing as an infotainment reboot that is performed by holding down the power button and fast-forward/skip arrow on the face of your head unit for a few seconds. Try it and see if it's the same as what you're experiencing. If so, at least you have a starting point for the dealership to chase.

Hi there! I can look into your Bronco's audio concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?
