Let me start by saying I love my Bronco, but after reading posts on this forum and also experiencing it myself, I am convinced Ford sucks at electronics.

I bought my Bronco used about 6 months ago and right away I noticed after locking/setting alarm with a double click on FOB, the alarm would randomly set off within a few seconds of walking away. At first I thought maybe it was the FOB emergency button being depressed in my pocket. So I got on the forum and found the fix for that. Filed down the back side of emergency button, so now it won't work no matter how hard you press it.

Then I started noticing after remote starting vehicle with FOB, it will randomly shut off and the alarm will go off. Not always, just sometimes.

Now I know what some of you will say, it's the hood latch sensor. My rebuttal to that, is wouldn't you see the dash light come on for an open hood? So I don't really buy that. I haven't hooked up any diagnostic tool, so I don't know if its throwing any errors.

The latest thing I noticed is that after locking/setting alarm with a double click of the FOB, it doesn't honk anymore, to indicate you have armed it. Do any of these things really affect normal operation of the vehicle, no, its just annoying. I've just come to terms with it.

Not really looking for any answers, just wanted to rant and share my experience in case anyone else is having the same issue. I still love my Bronco and its the coolest vehicle I have ever owned. Cheers!
