I went to the VA one on Monday. Skip was the man! We had a lots of rain the day before so it was nice and muddy. I was happy to be able to drive the manual. Short and sweet compared to Moab but it was a lot of fun in the mud!

The description said “off road racing” which I was really excited about.
Descriptions here don’t seem to say anything about driving fast.

I don’t expect to race anyone, but is there an off road track we can drive around at speed?

Doing Summit Point on Friday. Look forward to driving one in the dirt, as all the test drives I’ve had the chance to do so far in Virginia have been limited to the pavement.
I will be there for the 2pm session.

Went today to the one at Summit Point! Drove a 2dr Black Diamond w/manual trans. I tried to do all the stuff without the rear locker so I'd get a feel for how my 2dr Base order might feel off road.

It was a blast! I haven't been off road in a very long time, and I was pretty stoked with how it handled the course they set up. At one point we were at 23 degree rollover angle (drivers side). Doesn't seem like much if you look at the sample pic below, but it felt crazy in the drivers seat.

I can't wait for my order to arrive

Shit, I live maybe 7 miles from the Charlotte Motor Speedway. One would think Ford could just stop by there for a cup of coffee. But nooooooooooooooo, I don't think they even know where North Carolina is. :)

We did the Bronco drive last week in West Virginia. I drove my WT up with my son who’s 2dr is scheduled for build tomorrow. They had a cancellation so I got to drive a Big Bend. Both the Badlands he drove and the Big Bend are very off-road capable. The Badlands really is any off-road beast. If you get a chance to make the trip, do it. Coming off the interstate down the mountain with the top back and 70s rock blasting in my Bronco, great for the soul.
