First time up and down a legit mountain. I went ahead and engaged the One-pedal cruise control function in 4L going down Imogene Pass. I ranged between 2 and 7 mph depending on how rocky it was. From time to time, you can hear a little bit of squeaking that sounds just like squeaking brakes.

Is this normal? Maybe it's just because this was the first time there has truly been real stress on the 4x4 system?

Otherwise, every other mode worked flawlessly. I would have captured video, but my two passengers were busy taking in the view.

It is normal. The computer is controlling the brakes at each wheel so you will hear some creeks and clunks when in that mode.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought. I'm not that old, but there was a time when I could wrench on my own car. Those days have long passed.

All the best.
