Wow, zero Dealer Handling Fee after you pay 15k over, what a deal! Same as always, if people pay it they'll keep doing it. Sad thing is here in Hawaii most coming off the lots I see are driven by younger folks. Feel bad knowing they probably just put themselves in such a hole on a depreciating asset.
Or daddy dearest bought them a graduation or anticipation of graduation present

My dealer honored my msrp, while simultaneously marking up the prices of their several on-lot Broncos, one of which was a refused Bronco from a pre-order customer. On the one hand they're honoring their word to a customer, and on the other hand they're making what money they can at market prices. Some dealers around the country are selling some vehicles that MSRP and some are trying to mark them up. I guess it depends on the model and trim and the year. And even with all the marked up vehicles on the lot they still tell me that if I pre-order a vehicle they will honor the price of the pre-order so I guess is a little bit of both/and going on.

Many dealers including mine are doing the same thing. Orders at MSRP and dealer stock with an attempt at ADM. They are not getting that level of ADM for dealer stock anymore - they were, but they are no longer getting it routinely. Plenty of Bronco's out there, interest rates, etc. There is a few bucks added onto a Badlands SAS or Wildtrack but softs tops, 2.3's (I don't think it would be to difficult to get a 2.3 under MSRP) and lower end models are all MRSP in my area, East end of LI NY. 15K ADM on these vehicles above is just prayer these days. They can ASK whatever they want.

Side note on that topic, one of my favorite things to do as an 18 year old kid with my buddy was go to the dealerships for test drives of cars we absolutely could not afford. The salesman wouldnt even give you the time of day until we uttered our catch phrase. "Well I'm graduating shortly and my grandparents told me to go find the car I want as my graduation present." Man we drove the wheels off some cars we had no financial business being in!
