took off the rear interior to add some sound-deadening mats & it's crazy to see all the places dirt/dust get into (picture doesn't do justice).. can't imagine all the places mud could seep into and just sit there. not a rant or anything, just an observation. the more I go on trails, the more I think, "what's the point of cleaning this if I'm just gonna go again next week?" ☺

Jeez. Is this from riding with the tops/doors off? Or is all this dust somehow making it's way into an enclosed vehicle?

I’ve only gone off-roading with the doors/tops off once & it definitely got it’s fair share of dirt that day (which I did a deep clean prior to removing the rear panels, or so I thought was a deep clean), but aside from that one time, I’ve kept everything on for the remaining times I’ve gone out on the trails. idk, I thought things would be sealed a bit better, but there were especially large amounts of dirt under the door-sill panels

Your last sentence was all that needs to be said.

Want clean and pretty, that’s what an X3 is for. Bronco is dirty and dangerous!

Yeah it gets everywhere. Wipe stuff down, vacuum the basics, but don't get all anal about it. Wear the dirt with pride :)

Back in the day of manual locking hubs your interior was always getting dirty. Mud on the floor and all over everything from touching muddy dials, or stopping with a trail of dust following you and you forget to wait a minute after coming to a stop for it to blow past you before getting out to lock before crossing a stream or hopping over a small log, rocks, etc.
