Didn't expect this...but I'll take it

How did you not notice the subwoofer or the amp? As somewhat of an audiophile stereo is one of the first things I check when I get in a new to me car.

Well, I did notice it once it arrived. But embarrassingly, I thought it was a stock sub. I didn't pay too much attention to it and the bass was essentially off on that knob next to the lights. I didn't realize what was in there until I found that knob and started looking for an amp...then I realized what I had.

Man, so I got this car not too long ago...about 4 months...and I bought it unseen and had it shipped across the country to me. I love it. Family loves it, it's awesome.

I noticed people talking about the stock stereo and how it underwhelms...but I was like, man - mine actually sounds pretty good I think? I found this Rockford Fosgate 1,500 watt amp stuffed under the back drivers side seat, it has 2 Hertz Mille Pro Series 1-3/16" tweeters stuffed in the dash corners, some Hertz 6.5"s stuffed in the kick panels, 4" JL Audio speakers in the pods in the back and some sort of JL subwoofer in a box that's clearly taken a bit of a beating on the outside, but sounds amazing. Not sure exactly what model that sub is. Hell, I didn't even know any of this stuff was here until I was listening to music and turned this knob up next to the lights thinking it would make my dash brighter....then this thing came alive! Hahah, it KNOCKS....the clarity is incredible.

My wife doesn't love my new found toys, but my inner 18 year old loves them.
