To me the questions are: do you want carpet? Are you going rock crawling? Do you need higher than Mid package?

I originally planned for BL, but considered Not getting Badlands because I prefer carpet interior. I’m on the east coast and will never”rock crawl”. And my only two requirements were heated seats and remote start (mid package). If you are the same then Big Bend is what you want.
If you think you might ever go through deep water/mud or get caught with the top down in a rainstorm then the MGV interior might have benefits. For a daily driver in summer I might prefer cloth.

then again. If you option out a BB to equivalent BL then you may be essentially the same price point with fewer options.

however, more options lead to higher window sticker price.

so in conclusion. You should order a First Edition. LOL, j/k

I have never spent this much on a Vehicle, I could of gone Base with sasquatch and probably been happy. 45 seemed like the edge, With Squatch adding another 1400 was squeeky, so yes going up another 1000 is definitely a stretch. Sleeping on the original configuration I built which was well under my budget. Maybe i should put this all to bed and be happy with what im getting.
I am definitely not going to take a 50000 vehicle rock crawling, so the swaybar disconnect would probably just be a equity vice.

Sounds like you have your answer. Pick it, stick it, stay off configurator. Congrats bro

So my final build was a last min. change. I was trying to be a miser, which ive always been. In the last hail marry I added the Sasquatch package to the BIG BEND. In hindsight looking back I made my build within a thousand dollars of the BADLANDS.

Trade off, Swaybar disconnect, MGvinyl seats washouts vs sasquatch. Its all about that one step up and then your over the edge. Opinions?
Have you factored in that even the Badlands will still need additional options like the Lux package, if you like 2.7 ltr for 2.3 ltr, Sasquatch and other accessories. These will raise the Badlands final price well past the 1k differential in price your BB build is from the Badlands. So you might have saved 6k by going with BB.

I went BL Lux/Sasquatch. I did this because I wanted all the luxury of the BL and I want the looks plus ground clearance of the squatch.

Cloth seats breathe a bit and MGV might not. That 1k - really depends on your finances but if you aren't going High then the BL is not really there. Yes it has more suspension travel than a Squatch but will you use it?

Maybe that is where I would think. Well, also do you like the signature lighting better than the basic?
This

It's all in if you're gonna use it or not

Unless you're getting the Mid package I think there's more value in Base SAS than in the BB.

I went with the standard Badlands with mid rather than than the Black Diamond with Sas/Mid because I like the look of the smaller fender flares. Also, 33s should drive a little better on road. I also think BL will resale better than BD if I ever sell. It's approx 1k more for the BL. However, only you can say whether the trade off is worth it. You may love the Sas look and ground clearance may mean more to you.

No one needs the lux package. It's basically the heated steering wheel, cordless phone charging pad that probably won't work right... adaptive cruise which is pointless after the first few times using it... I may be forgetting something... But it's 100 percent all features that are fluff... Including the sound system. Factory stereo is fine. Lol

this is why I ended up with BD, Happy medium for me. MGV, rear locker, mid... debated from basesquatch to standard BL and settled out somewhere in the middle with a price and capabilities I can stomach...

$1000... You'll get every penny back and then some on trade in or selling outright. Even if you price It low for a fast sale, you still got to enjoy it for 55 cents more a day if you keep it five years. Get the Badlands.

I’ve never wanted carpet in any vehicle ... but they do make floor mats for a reason. So, it sounds like you should be content with what you have built up, with said floor mats.

BL. I'm debating between fully loaded and base sas. It's a 10k difference. Do i go base and customize the interior? Or just buy once cry once?! .. well, atm with my build I'm crying, but I'll get over it.

I did the exact thing. After hundreds of configurations, it was a squatched BD w/mid package.

I started at a base with sas and slowly worked up to the BL and mid package On 33s. It nice not to have to regret passing on anything. Buy once and buy right!
