That is what I thought I remembered reading on here.

Example: if a dealer has a family member/friend they could bump them up to get one of their allocations thus leaving someone out. Not saying anyone is doing that but it could be done.

I think one dealership on here even said that if you switched after X date to their dealership you would go to the back of the line behind their other customers despite your time stamp. I believe this was explained by saying they wanted to “protect” their customers that were with them from the beginning or something of that nature.

I placed my reservation months ago and the dealership called this morning and told me that Ford was accepting orders, so I ran down and placed my order. Ford sent me an order confirmation email. How do I know where I landed in the build schedule? My reservation number was 1048XXXX, but since I paid my deposit today and have an order confirmation then I would think I would be close to the front? What say ye?

Yes. I believe they said you would go back to resubmit your MY22 Order in the fall.

Somebody please point me to a thread about late reservation holders. I have one, and I'm seeing conflicting info and it's hard to hunt this forum with the thousands of posts a day. Some say don't "burn" your reservation by "ordering" if you are a late res holder, for example. That seems wrong. Where can I read up?

Basically orders won’t be turned in until mid March so it doesn’t matter when you order between now and then. Good info below if you scroll down to reservations FAQ in the link. Your reservation is time stamped. So there’s some info about when to expect your order to be processed.

Fair ... but was waiting to confirm that the Bronco would not end up like the new Chevy Blazer which is an embarrassment. Only after confirming that the Bronco would truly compete with the Rubicon would I buy one ... there was so much speculation as to what the Bronco would have that it gave me a headache.
