been looking for a reasonably priced option to hold my cell phone that doesn't bounce around a lot - was liking the look of the 67D magmount g3, but holy cow that's pricey, and their Black Friday "deal" is laughable - BPM ended up doing 20% off their entire line for Black Friday, and while they don't have a magnetic solution I like as much, the clamping phone holder looks like a solid solution, and their prices aren't as ridiculous as 67D. Any other options to consider?

I have Bulletpoint. Rock solid. My phone doesn't move at all. They are supposed to be releasing a Bronco specific mount soon. Right now I just use their 1/4-20 20mm ball attached to the dash mounting point.

Ironically I was just wondering if there was something like this. I don't need a whole "system". Just want something to hold my sell phone. I was going to see if I could simply adapt my rugged ridge older in my Jeep to the Bronco....but I really like your setup.

Do you have a link for what you got? I glanced at their site and didn't know if I needed to Frankenstein a bunch of replacement parts, or that whole piece comes together.

If you’re after the most rock solid of setups, you’ll want our billet SLAP BULLETPROOF MOUNT and a single billet BALLS moint point, found here.
Ford Bronco Device Holder - 67Design vs BulletPoint Mounting ? C58FC7A3-24D3-49A4-966C-5FAF4B8E0B61

You eighty-six the flimsy plastic panel with the threaded feature that will eventually fail you and you incorporate a solid 1” or 20mm mount ball for your socket arm. A 1/4-20 316 Stainless bolt mounts the BALLS to the SLAP. THE SLAP is bolted to your dash. 💪🏽 You exchange one flimsy OEM mount point for three ultra rugged mount points.

Post #2, 5, & 10 demonstrate how the arm attaches to the ball. On the other end of the arm is where the device mount goes. The Archetype SLAP replaces a plastic factory piece

I just mounted the 67 Designs full rail. The 1/4-20 mounting hole has terrible flex front to back. So no matter how tightly you torque the screw, it has crazy wobble. Is this an issue with my 1/4-20 threaded hole? I can flex my phone a good 1/4" up and 1/4" down based on the flex of the dash.

Tackform is the way to go. And at the moment the switch panel is 3m double sided tape
