The maximum weight for the solo hammock is 300lbs. I do make a tandem model that consists of two hammocks that hang side by side.

The wear and tear that you saw in the video was from 5 months of trials and errors as I worked toward the current system. The current system does not permit the bracket to contact the paint. On the underside of the bracket is a rubber gasket. An alternative to the Amsteel cordage is a metal carabiner. The current system prevents the carabiner from coming in contact with the paint. So, yes, on my Bronco there are areas on the rear pillars that have been abused as I worked through the R&D phase of developing this hammock system. Thanks for asking the question. In the future, I will wrap that area to make it look pretty again.

wow...that looks great. I love hammock days. I think my GOAT basket might interfere with my feet, and at 6'5" 300+ lbs I'm not sure this is for me. but 100% love the idea and implementation.
