My decision is based on which model I can actually get into. Being a retired mudder and crawler I still want to get on the trails. My trails will be confined to greens and blues. Blacks and Reds are things of the past. Looking at BL or BD. Either with auto. The ease of entry is most important to me.

The decision point is being able to sit comfortably and see the front at night. Being short sucks. I would be SO depressed if the Bronco didn't work since I've been waiting years to own one.

Am happy with the most basic Base two door + 2.7L and automatic. Want as few nanny features as possible.

Since you are short, please don’t drive with the doors off.

For me this is going to be a secondary / leisure /fun vehicle. I have my train commuter car, my Fusion was passed down to my son and my daughter is away at school. Wife has her lux SUV and depending on the function we can take either the Bronc or her X5. This is replacing my Cayenne so for me it will be loaded up pretty well.

I've still held out hope that the sasquatch will be available in manual. We keep hearing from Mike "We're listening" and recently that "we're working on cool stuff"... maybe it's the mansquatch. That's where my decision comes from. It's either a 2 door manual basesquatch with some extra goodies (if they offer mansquatch) or a 2 door badlands if they don't. I don't need the swaybar disco, but I do need a front locker and I want a manual with the lower gearing, the badlands being the only trim that offers those things.

I intend my bronco to be able to get me anywhere on the ranch when it is wet so both lockers are a must. I would prefer the upgraded transfer case so I can use the 4A mode. I am also 100% manual so the Mansquatch option will determine if I can come down from the Badlands. Pricing is going to be a little painful but not a deal-breaker if I do end up in the Badlands.

The hard part is the wants: Modular roof and B&O stereo. I love the idea of the white roof and removable windows for my dogs and I regret not getting the upgraded stereo in my last daily driver but there is no way in hell I am getting a Lux package just for the radio.
