Glad to hear about Galpin Ford if I need to head south. X-Plan pricing does get you below MSRP, a win right there. Not only that, but X-Plan pricing guarantees no ADM. ?So another update Galphin Ford Van Nuys, CA is doing MSRP and X plan but he assured me nothing below MSRP.
True, I should've phrased it better, my 1st question was do you do MSRP below or above then asked about the X-Plan. I am in San Diego, I am comparing them against Grainger, not sure if the $1000 difference at this point worth getting the car from Iowa since I may have to pay out of state transfer fees, I've never bought out of state car, I like the journey of flying there and driving the car back!Glad to hear about Galpin Ford if I need to head south. I need to confirm with them on whether or not they’ll honor xplan. For those who live in the Bay Area, CA:
I reached out to the GM of Serramonte Ford and he confirmed that the First Edition's will most likely get ADM.
HOWEVER the other models will not. I'm purposely not blocking his number so that there's proof if he goes back on his word (which I'd imagine he won't).
Also I'm not 100% confident so I have a second reservation with @Bronco Dealer

Years ago I bought a truck in PA and drove it back to Maine.I've never bought out of state car, I like the journey of flying there and driving the car back!
I just called my dealer, Future Ford in Clovis and the sales Mgr I dealt with seemed pretty straightforward in that he quickly said that my order does not go against their allocation and that X-Plan pricing would be honored.True, I should've phrased it better, my 1st question was do you do MSRP below or above then asked about the X-Plan. I hoping that isn't the case. If it is I might have to shop the Heck out of my FE reservation for the best deal. Welcome to supply and demand. If anyone finds a dealer that will to do X- Plan pricing or discount equal to it on a FE please let me know. I live in North Carolina but willing to travel. Thank you in advance.Folks should keep in mind that the X-plan doesn't necessarily apply to all vehicles. Ford states in the x-plan letter that some limited run vehicles aren't eligible. Have to imagine this will apply to the FE Bronco
I bet you are right. I did speak with the asst GM at Future Ford and he said they would honor X-Plan pricing since my order doesn’t go against their allocation allotment.MCA is probably wondering why they have 100K new members... LOL
Right here! https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...dm-x-plans-special-discount-master-list.2010/We need to use this community as leverage. Bronco6g is kinda a big deal.I think building a list of dealers willing to bend us over would be appropriate to let other potential buyers where not to go. Also, as a group our combined voices to FMC Should carry more weight.
I doubt FMC will direct dealerships on their pricing. That said, I have had an experience with pre-ordering a yet to be released vehicle and I have to say that it does give the buyer some leverage when dealing with a dealership. There is one caveat however, FMC needs to allow that the pre-order dealership can be changed. If not, the buyer's leverage is lost. In addition, forums such as this one can be instrumental in negotiating a price if the dealership is aware of it and the extra business it can potentially bring them. It's a win, win with a pre-order. Typically the vehicle does not come out of the dealership's allotment but it does count as a sale for the dealership. For these reasons, I will flat out not purchase my Bronco from any dealership that is going to mark up the vehicle and will not honor x-plan pricing. I can wait.Is Ford doing anything to limit dealer markup? I have contacted my dealership and asked about additional markup above MSRP. They replied that they don't have pricing info yet. Not the most encouraging answer.
If my dealer can't guarantee MSRP is it possible to switch dealers? Can reservations be transferred? I would hate to wait a long time only to find that they put a huge markup on my Launch Edition.
