I placed my first reservation with Chapman Ford in Scottsdale on Tuesday and have not heard from them on my order. I just placed another reservation with Sanderson Ford (since they are accepting X-Plan) and received an auto email from their sales manager right away.
Smart doing the double order! X-plan pricing is ?? please keep us posted of they send anymore details or pricing!

I placed my reservation with Power Ford in Albuquerque, NM. I haven't heard anything yet but I'm not too worried. I'm sure its going to be a while before they start collecting any order info.

Yup, it will be awhile... I'm hoping they release a bit more info to the dealers to keep us engaged. It's almost like it's Ford's first be launch haha

Received from general sales manager of my dealer:

"Thank you for your interest in the Bronco! This is a very exciting time for Ford and Bronco customers.

We have received notice of your Bronco order and deposit.

Please go to Ford.com for all of your questions for configurations and timing.

We will be your selling, coordinating and delivery dealer.

We will be in touch as we know more.

Thank you."

That was the near same verbiage in the 3rd email they sent me but they signed it as if a real person sent it to me?

I do like that they redirect you to Ford for any questions?‍♂ but I get it... we'll have to wait till Ford gives them more info..

I placed 2 reservations with 2 dealers....both confirmed by Ford....have not heard anything from either dealer

Hold those confirmation emails and reservation numbers tight, I'm sure the dealership is still trying to play catch up on how many have come through or what they can get allotted... keep us updated if you hear anything!

I had a dealership call me and leave me a message about my reservation, but it was not the dealership I reserved with. I had called them prior to the reservation time and they never got around to bothering to answer my questions. Now after the fact they are calling me. :rolleyes:

?‍♂?‍♂I can't emphasize enough how the dealers seem so blindsided by what's happening... are you planning on sticking with who you originally ordered with or the other?

Err.. Audi, but I'm converting to a Bronco.
I feel so lucky going through Town and Country ford in AL, also seeing that the manager actually knows his stuff is extremely relieving lol, I expect to have a good experience with them.

I first received a call from the sales guy that deals with my family at the dealership and he just wanted to say congratulations for the reservation (I've never bought from him but my parents and brothers have bought something like 8-10 cars from him over the past 3 years), then the general manager called me as well to say they were excited they were chosen by me for my bronco reservation. Then I got the automated general manager email after the call.

I ain't heard crap. I called them with a question and got a non committal answer. since I did not order a FE I may just reserve at another dealer and see that goes.

I can't believe how many dealers are out of the loop... that might be a better bet, I've heard others have does the same when a dealer did not contact them. If you can let us know how it goes that would be helpful!

That is awesome!! I would hope being legacy owners they would do the extra care. Please keep us posted on how your experience and if they communicate anything else!

will do! though my first call was a bit odd, the first thing he asked was if we knew each other since we both lived in the same area lolol. I've had my fair share of awkward salespeople, but I think that comes with being an enthusiast and genuinely knowing more about the product than the people selling it to you. But I'm basing all of my hopefulness on the dealerships YouTube channel and video on the Bronco which is up to like 550k views by now, just seems like a genuine guy that is also an enthusiast.

No, I'm staying with my original dealer I chose. I bought my F150 there and I liked them a lot. They also have an extended warranty for free now, which may come in handy down the road. The other dealer who called me touts themselves as the big truck dealer of this area of Florida. They are a nice dealership, but every time I go in there, they try to sell me something ugly that I hate - like a doo doo brown truck. They told my husband once, "you don't see the outside of the truck when you're driving." Okay, dude.

I got a call from Autonation Ford in Torrance yesterday. The Lease Retention manager, Joseph Mistrih. He confirmed that we would work out details at year end, and also said no ADM.

Where are they located? I’m near CH and have yet to ask Holman Ford about this. If it’s not an answer I like, I may have to join you!
They're down in Woodbury, so not far from you at all. I had planned to go through Winner Ford, and still may switch if I can, because my dad goes way back with the general manager there. But we'll see.
I'm going through John Kennedy Ford in Philadelphia, but I'm in the same boat. If any shenanigans begin I'll be sure to look at these guys.

I did speak to the Bronco specialist there on Tuesday the 14th and he seems pleasant enough. I need to return his voicemail from yesterday saying to call in regards to my last question (which was an inquiry about dealer fees and markups.)


Update: I called on my drive home from work. He was able to verify that they will honor an x-plan,(which I don't exactly have yet) but was elusive when it came to dealer markups. He said he would not know anything about how they will handle pricing until it was time to place an order. I just placed a 2nd reservation with Ace Ford! Thanks for the recommendation. I'll probably be cancelling my first reservation sooner than later.
