Anyone catch this on TFL? See around minute 8:20.

They just took delivery of a new Raptor and he mentions that he's glad it's not a "COVID truck."
I hadn't considered the COVID impact on quality.
Anyone concerned about this? I'm not concerned.
Thanks

Nope, probably just TFL looking for clicks.

I believe that this is a valid concern and 50% of the reservations should be cancelled immediately. It's better safe then sorry and I won't have to wait as long for mine. Besides; if you get the MGV seats and wash out interior you can hose the sucker out before driving home.

So he should have bought a COVID truck...maybe the mirror switch would've worked.

Also, 1,100 miles on a brand new truck? Someone's cutting me a check for those joyride miles!

And I believe Covid really likes to hide in manual transmissions. So all of you getting a MT should cancel. Then when my ManBaseSquatch shows up earlier, I will be able to report back if you are safe or not. I'm willing to take that risk for the sake of everyone's health.

I'm not worried. QC will still be the same. Production may slow or stop but there's not much reason to believe that QC won't be able to keep up with production.

We should be getting Covid discounts, actually, for buying during these times and keeping companies in business.

After you get delivery of your Bronco, you will need to quarantine for 14 days. :D You will not be allowed to drive your brand new Bronco anywhere during that time span.

Ha. This thread will go downhill in a hurry anyway....no need to make stuff up.

To stay on topic... I'm not worried. QC will still be the same. Production may slow or stop but there's not much reason to believe that QC won't be able to keep up with production.
I know. I am regretting posting this already. But can't find the delete button. I think quality may improve since things are slowed down. It's just odd how it rolled off his tongue like it's a thing.

Not worried about it.

However, I work at a manufacturing company and our defects are currently up. It's due to being closed down for 2 months and trying to speed everything up to play catch up.
