So we all know the 21st of this month was start of conversion orders. I have yet to receive an email from ford. I went to my dealer yesterday my sales rep was not there. Another sales rep came to me and told me by the 28th I'd be able to convert. Explained to him the 21st started the process. Frustrated went home called Ford. I was told by the agent on the phone that my order already was converted automatically. Asked for priority code to make sure said they can not see that which is strange. Then I asked about price protection they said I was not eligible since I ordered January 7 of 2022. All this info and non info has me confused. One how come no one has notified me ford nor dealer . This is very frustrating I understand many other people have been waiting longer but I just want some sort of transparency

Who qualifies for the Bronco Price Protection Program?

There are different levels of price protection based on when your reservation or order was placed. If you placed an order or reservation prior to March 11, 2022, you qualify for price protection. If you changed your series, equipment package, the number of doors, or 4x4 system after March 11, 2022, your price protection amount may vary. See below for more detail.

What qualifies as a series, equipment package, number of doors, or 4x4 system change?

An example of a series change would be going from Badlands™ to Big Bend™. An equipment package refers to a base, mid, high, or lux package. A door change would mean going from a four-door to two-door and vice versa. A 4x4 system change means changing the standard 4x4 system to or from the advanced 4x4 system.

Is price protection still in effect for the 2023 MY?

Ford will continue to honor MSRP pricing based on when a customer’s reservation or order was placed for similarly equipped vehicles. Previously announced price protection amounts for eligible customers are still valid, and price protection will also be provided for 2023 MY price increases. In the coming weeks, Ford will provide dealers with the 2023 MY price protection amounts for each eligible customer.

What does price protection mean?

Ford will honor pricing based on when your reservation or order was placed. Your dealer will be issued a certificate for a similarly equipped vehicle that covers pricing differences for the selected series and door configuration you reserved or ordered as of March 11, 2022. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.

In order for you to receive this price protection, your dealership will need to search for and apply the certificate at the time you take delivery of your Bronco. You will not receive an email with the discount certificate. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.

As for order conversions I think the default is the dealer is auto-converting them to 23s. However, they get default set to PC 99. The dealer is then supposed to contact the customer and confirm whether or not they still want the order. If yes, the dealer is supposed to update the 99 code. Any non-updated resubmitted PCs will be auto-cancelled mid November.

Ford is honestly handling this so poorly. The information I posted above from the Ford website reads so much like "Hopefully you'll get price protection ... as long as ... " This is a gosh darn $50,000+ vehicle purchase, not a Walmart price match on my groceries.
