I've noticed a rather consistent clicking sound coming from somewhere near the driver's door or mid vehicle. I have drove myself crazy trying to figure out what it was. I thought perhaps the window motor was slipping and allowing the window to ever so slightly continuing to drop so I rolled the window down and didn't notice the sound for a bit. Rolled the window up, no click then randomly it appears again. My question is, has anyone had issues with their window motor giving out and allowing the window to slip? Or experienced this clicking sound? Like I mentioned, it appears to be near the drivers door, or panel right behind the door but can't find the origination to cancel it.

Good morning! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your noise concern on my end.

Check your tires for rocks or other things stuck in the tread.

Thanks for the tip. I did though lol. I think it’s something inside of the door. Oddly enough it doesn’t do it at higher speeds but anywhere between 0-55 it’s all day intermittent clicking. Not a normal mud tire making your car click either. If only I could find where it was coming from…

The hard tops have had somewhat the same sound coming from the plastic pins that help position the removable roof panels. If you have a hard top, that could be it. If you have a soft top, good luck tracking it down.

That stinks, was hoping for an easy fix for ya. Does it do it while stopped? Speedo issue?
