When if get in my OBX and start it up and press down on the brake pedal I hear and feel a click in the pedal. Is this normal operation? It's not a big deal, just want to make sure something isn't amiss.

This sounds to me like the brake rely switch sound which I've heard on each braking on the new Defender test drive.

Do you hear it everytime you touch the brake pedal?

It’s probably the safety in the shifter that doesn’t allow you to shift from park without pressing the brake

I only hear it at startup, not every time I hit the brakes.

I just noticed it on my new Badlands that I got in November. Today is the first time I noticed, and I feel it in the shifter before I shift out of Park.
