Center Display dimmer control

Last night I noticed my center display seemed brighter than before. When going to the display menu of the center display I see the dimming touch slide bar is limited and won't go to the lowest dim position. Also now the dimmer slide bar dim limit moves when the instrument lighting brightness is changed with the buttons on the light control panel. Any one else notice this?
I want my center display as dim as before.

Is it set to auto dim

I looked for an auto dimming selection and didn't see one. I don't recall having one. I know my Escape did. I checked all my light configurations and they are the same as I had them. Ford power-up 4.2.2 installed last week. I suspect it changed something. I used to be able to slide the dimmer full left.
Ford must have changed something, or worse a government mandate to tell us how bright our dash should be.
I'll be looking for a forscan change.
The pictures show the minimum dim available in my completely dark garage. The camera did not adjust the exposure either. The other picture is daylight A new "I" note as well

Stop by a dealer and ask them if this is normal

Looks like the Ford F150 forums went through the restricted dimming/brightness issue this past spring.
