Capable bumper skid plate

Does anyone know if I go from the base plastic bumper to the capable bumper do I need to change out the plastic skid plate?

If I recall when I did mine, I think the very front of the plastic skid plate fastened to the underside of the plastic bumper but wouldn't be able to on the capable bumper. I already had gotten an OEM metal front skid plate and installed it when I did the swap. Aside from the very front lip of plastic skid plate, the skid plate should mount up fine.

I don't know if you ever got your answer, but I am about to do the same thing. I think you can modify the skid plate for the plastic bumper, but can I buy a skid plate that will fit with the capable bumper? I haven't been able to find one yet.

You can cut the plastic skid to fit the capable bumper - have to trim about 4” off for it to tuck up inside the lower lip of the bumper.

Capable uses same front skid plate as mod bumper if I’m not mistaken
