Can fold down tow hooks be installed on modular bumper

Like the title says, I'm looking to see if the fold down front tow hooks that are on the steel bumper Broncos will fit those with the modular bumper. I did a search but did not find anything for "fold down tow hooks" so here we are. The fold down tow hooks look like they would work from what I see in the workshop manual but if someone has done this or has attempted and found out it didn't work, I'd love to find out before getting too far into this.

Probably should. I removed mine when I installed the JCR winch plate, which is designed to work with both the Capable and Modular bumpers, so the bolt pattern is the same.

I know folks have done it the other direction, adding the modular hooks to the capable bumper.

That makes sense and is good to hear. I thought about adding clevises to the ones mine came with but not sure I want all that extra in front and the fold down ones tuck in clean.

Are you keeping them to put back on in the future or just never did anything with them once they were removed? I might be interested in them if you're not holding onto them to be reinstalled.

I might be misunderstanding what you're looking for, but D-Ring Shackles give a good hook point with the modular bumper.

Some say they're pierced nipples on a Bronco, but my Bronco likes them tugged on, so... I guess she's okay with them.

ROTFLMAO!!! I literally was thinking the same thing and is why I'm looking at the fold down ones. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that. LOL
