This mod is a must for many reasons. First is the obvious weakness to the existing tailgate. In order to carry anything past a 35" tire, you need tailgate reinforcement and camera relocation kit. Second is how the swing out tailgate doesn't stay open if you're on a slope. The third reason, and the most important, is that throughout it's history, the Bronco has ALWAYS had a dropdown tailgate. As many others have stated, why did Ford try so hard to make the back of the Bronco look almost identical to the Jeep? Total miss.
Here's the solution! Figure out who did the mod work for that fire truck bronco and get that done first. Then call JCR Offroad and buy their Vanguard bumper with or without the swing out jerry can. Done and done! I'm ready to Venmo money whenever someone nails that down.
