The crazy thing is, when I call marketing, they say it is fully built and not waiting on anything. Just needs to be shipped. They just won’t mark it as built until the schedule the shipment for a few days away. Something doesn’t seam right
That is the way it works. Some go from production to built to shipped right away and others wait.

Exactly. So I’m curious why some get pushed through, and others wait. Doesn’t seam right

I tried to do research when this happened to me but really came up empty. I tried ford chat, they said it had already been delivered. lol. Granger could only find the secondary was "built". The only thing we could come up with is that they were put aside because they were missing a certain part. The assembly line would then get the part and continue with the builds....and they would go directly to built and ship from there. Then at a later date they go back and put that part back in and then we wait to get shipped. Once you are out of that assumbly line to produced to shipped its pot luck what happens.

manuals are also held up but I think that is because they are trying to fix the transmission issues before they go out so it isnt a warranty item later.

A lot of SAS were also held up.

It wont help you but some spent a month and others up to 6 months "in production" but built.

I don’t think that’s correct, my 7MT was built 4/18, shipped 4/19.

For those of you that have made it to Granger, or are close, how long did it take you to get past Chicago? In the week since my Bronco left MAP, it’s only gotten to Gibson Yard, having sat idle about 5 of those 7 days, first in Garrett, IN for 3 days and now at Gibson since 8 am Saturday morning.

Looks like my bronco made it to Granger on Friday. I'm sure they're busy getting all these vehicles prepped for delivery.

That is the exact same timeline as mine. I'm waiting to hear from Granger - assuming they have a lot going on right now. Very exciting!

The black hole of Indiana. :( Mine was forecast to be in Gibson today, but apparently is in Garrett, which is only middle of Indiana. Something about change to foreign shipper or something like that, hard to hear the automated phone msg.
Oh yeah THAT message. I’ve been told by a RR guy it has something to do with the railroad that owns the line where it’s going (Gibson) accepting it onto their track. 🤷‍♂️
