Was the whole buttermilk trail loop open when you went? I was there this weekend and they had a road closed sign up maybe halfway. Still a lot of fun and great views tho. Thanks for the trip report! Would have never found this spot

Glad you were able to get out there and experience the trail. The trail was open when I went (I didn’t see any closed sections). It was a little muddy in patches. But it was fun.
