Ford Bronco Built Wild... So wild mine is missing! 177591-thum

I wanted to ask if anyone else has had a problem with delivery that their vehicle has not shown up? I have a 9/13 build with VIN, with a delivery date of 9/22. Only problem is my dealer has not received it!

I stopped in last Monday and the dealer said they had not received it. Even though I saw a delivery date on the tracker. They even drove me around to double check their lots. No where to be found! I ordered a 4dr, black diamond SAS with soft top. They did have a badlands non SAS 4dr soft top same color as my order. I thought maybe they dropped the wrong one off or it was built incorrectly. But the VIN did not match.

At the end of the day Friday, I called Ford Customer Service to see if they could confirm the delivery. They were showing it as delivered also. They kept me on hold and called the dealer to confirm what was going on. The dealer confirmed that they have not received it. Customer Service did advise them of what steps to take and they responded with they contacted their regional rep for guidance. Customer Service flagged the issue to elevate it and track it.

If there is anyone on here that might be able to give me some advice as what to do next, it would be appreciated.

Was your bronco by rail? Or by convoy. If by rail still a chance it’s at the Rail yard. Dealership should be able to pull all that up on their system.

Come on, it's not like that wouldn't be ferreted out. You think they sold a customers vehicle to someone else and lied to Ford about it? That's tantamount to stealing.

Given all the tech in these new cars these days, they should be able to track it the it’s current location. The VIN is the key to that. The dealer or Ford should be able to locate it via GPS

Pretty sure that's only possible if you're linked via FordPass to the vehicle. Otherwise it'd be a big privacy issue if Ford or anyone else could see exactly where you're at all times. You need to have the phone inside the vehicle (or scan the QR code) and both the vehicle and the phone have to accept the pairing.

The GPS in these units is extremely accurate. I dropped mine off at a shop to swap out the speakers. I could see exactly when they pulled it into the shop, and what parking stall it was sitting at once they pulled it out.

Update: It’s almost a month now and I still cannot get an answer where my vehicle is.

There was a recent post that had links to websites to check on vehicles. One was the transport company, Jack Cooper Transport. They have a search for vehicles on their website and my vehicle is in it. I called their customer service and they were very helpful. They gave me the number to their terminal dispatch at Wayne, MI. Called them and they did not have it. Only info they had was it went out with another transporter. Couldn’t tell who.

Called Ford again. They have no control over vehicles once they leave the plant. It’s in the Dealer’s side of things. They called the dealer again while I was on hold and they told me that the regional rep has not been returning their calls for help. I have her name. Ford assigned the issue to a supervisor for investigation and a call back.

The Dealer is frustrated and says to call and complain. They have no access to find it. But now I’m at the point of who to complain to? I asked Ford and they didn’t have an answer other than this is an unusual case.

Does anyone have any suggestions to who to contact?
