Currently have a loaded Wildtrak build in line but have been thinking about going with the Badlands build and omitting the Sas package. Is the front locker and 35” factory wheel/tire combo worth it?? Thanks for the help.

Do you already have a VIN/build date?

Not extreme off road but the ability to get off the path and romp around and setup camping away from it all.

Badlands comes with front and rear locker so you'd just be missing out on the 35's without the SAS package

Badlands non-sas is extremely capable. It would be among the most capable stock builds out there had Ford not simultaneously introduced the sasquatch package, so it's plenty capable.

You get front and rear lockers, and will add a front stabilizer bar disconnect. The suspension will have MORE travel than the sasquatch package. You'll be sacrificing a bit of clearance, but again just at the margin.

The other trade will be losing Sport mode in favor of Rock Crawl mode. Just FYI, if that's important to you.
