Hi everyone, first time poster long time lurker!

So i had a question regarding the Sasquatch package, and would love y’alls help.

long story short, im on the fence about Sasquatch, because ill never take my bronco off-road, apart from maybe the gun range, but even my beat up sequoia can handle that lol. So for all intents and purposes, my bronco will a pavement princess lmao, no other way of putting it.

i know that Sasquatch is mainly for hardcore off-roading, but I absolutely love the way it looks. I also realize that the bigger off road tires mean more road noise and overall a less quiet cabin. Currently my daily is an rdx, sometimes an S class and both these cars are pretty quiet in the cabin. While i do understand that the bronco is a dedicated off roader, im hoping road tires instead will help compose it a bit.

basically, is there anyway to get the look of the Sasquatch, on a non Sasquatch bronco with road tires? Or would the Sasquatch be the better route out of the box?

Appreciate it everyone!

quick edit: I actually had one more question regarding builds, I reserved mine in july of this year, my dealer called me to let me know they’d call me in September to order a 22 model year. However, with all the delays, would i ever get a bronco by next summer if i were to order it this September?

We used to run Uniroyal Tiger Paws on our Jeep’s back in the 70’s and they looked pretty good. But…….. not sure it would look all that good now. Just my opinion. The 35MT’s are not that noisy IMO After driving a WT. Not much different than the KO’s.

Might be unlikely for summer 22 delivery but who knows with the way things are going. Might still depend on how it it optioned out.

I will probably do very little off-roading and I am getting the Sasquatch. It has a much smoother ride then Non-Sasquatch. Didn't notice anymore road noise on the Sasquatch. It's an off-road vehicle so I would expect some road noise.

Get equal sized KO2's, be better in the wet and, if applicable, the snow. Should be quieter.
What are ko2s if you don’t mind me asking?

im definitely leaning more towards Sasquatch now lol. And yes I expect some noise since it is an off-road vehicle after all.

Your OBX will be a pavement princess? 🤯🤯

Okay now that that obligatory silliness is over it's time to get to the real stuff. SAS doesn't just add the two lockers (which you won't need), some minor appearance changes, and the larger MT tires on beadlock-capable wheels, it also gives you the gearing in more robust differentials to run those larger tires effectively. If you're going to be pushing this thing hard a lot (like rock crawling) then you definitely want those diffs, but if this is more for appearance then you can likely forgo them. You can find cheap lifts that'll probably get you what you need.

Poke around the site a bit and you'll find many people have already put 33s and 35s on lower trim Broncos just to get the look without the mechanical advantages. If you option for the 4.27 gearing it will do well.

I agree with this. Get the lower gears from ford at $800 and put a 2" lift with 35" tires of your choice and I pretty sure you'll be under the $5,000 price tag for the sasquatch.

2 inch lift from Zone, nitto ridge grapplers 35s. Look and quiet and good wear. Saves you alot of money. If you like the Sasquatch wheel many will be for sale with upgrades.

Out of curiosity on an OBX how is that done? Rear locker? Or is there the option for those gears just by themselves from the factory?

Get the Sasquatch! It rides amazing and isn’t that loud but it’s geared for the larger tires. Seriously, just get the squatch. Nobody is going to ask you what trails you run because you have 35 inch tires.
