Build date TBD?

Edit: I found an answer to my question with a new build week and am no longer in the dark!

I’ve tried using the search function in a multitude of ways and have asked questions in other threads, but haven’t been able to find any answers. I’ve called my dealer and Ford customer service to no avail.

In May, I received a vin and a projected build date of 7/26. Obviously the plant is closed that week so I was expecting to get an email from Ford with a date change like the majority of other people have. Well I have not and when I called Ford CS, they said my build date is TBD with no other answers. My dealer said they have no way of looking up my current build date. Basically, my dealer said to call Ford, Ford told me to contact my dealer..Does anyone have any incite whether that means they will try and fit me in later, earlier, or am I out all together for now? I have a few constraints to my build.. a 4 door badlands, 2.3l manual, MIC, high package, non sas.

I’m not here to complain as I know many are still waiting to hear SOMETHING from Ford. I feel very fortunate to at least have a vin, just curious if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. If there is a thread somewhere with answers to my questions, I will gladly delete this if someone points me in the right direction.

My vehicle does pull up in the order tracker here, but nothing about build date. Also the window sticker does not pull up, so I know it hasn’t been pushed into production yet.

You may want to make a few separate calls to Ford Customer Service. My perception, from my contact with them, is they are contractors with access to Ford's scheduling systems. I called three times because the first person I talked with, while very friendly, seemed to have been awakened by my call. The second person I spoke to, maybe 30 minutes later, confirmed the information I received from the first. And the third, on the next day, still gave me the same information. None of them tried to pass me off to a dealer. This is the number I called: 800-334-4375 (credit Tricky Dick).

Awesome, I will definitely give this number a call to see if I can get an answer. I would just like to be able to have a plan in place to go pick her up, makes it hard when my build date is up in there air!

I had a 7/26 build and got moved to 8/9. From what I’ve seen on the forum, there seems to be some kind of delay between getting moved and receiving the email informing you that your build has been pushed.
also, there was a thread this week on specifically the 7/26 build date and it seems the majority of people who originally had that build week have been moved to the first couple of weeks of august. Hopefully this gives you some consolation and there is just a delay in your email

Yea I’ve posted in that thread about my situation hoping someone knew something, but I’m not expecting gen pop like myself to have any real answer.

But I was able to get ahold of someone at Ford and they informed me as of now I have been moved back to the week of 8/16. Still no email, but this thread helped me find an answer. I appreciate all of those who chimed in
