Build date moved forward

I received and email Friday saying my production date was moved to 3/14. Although i had a Vin I didn’t know i had a production date so i was happy. Then Sat night I received another email saying my build date was moved FORWARD to 2/28. I thought this was strange due to the news on Friday of the chip shortages? Has anyone seen a build date move forward?

Speaking from experience, don't go doing something stupid like selling your only vehicle already. I had almost 5 months of build dates before the last one stuck and it actually got built. I didn't trust that date either, until I saw the modules populate. Ford is very loose with the dates and commitment. Glad you got a date and happy you have something to look forward to! You won't be disappointed when it finally comes in...

my dealer told me that my date that has been pushed out a few times, might change to an earlier date also. I thought they were just trying to give me hope. better to go earlier than later. Good luck .
