Super stoked for the 24 BB i ordered but know it will atleast be 1st QTR 2024 begore i may see it??....possibly?. Once a VIN is made does that guarentee it to be made? I wanna start looking for upgrades and things i want but it feels odd buying things for a Bronvo i dont have. Is it best to wait till its in my yard or once a vin is made im fairly safe or am i completly dumb for gathering parts i find on sale along the way? I mean lots will be onsale around black friday and it sucks watching deals come and go to wait till BF next year. Juat ready to start modding.

Getting a VIN is an important step. Getting a build date is even better. I received my 2021 4 months after the build date, which changed 4 times. Some have ordered and received in a few months, others wait years. Part of it depends on options. Partly on luck. Its going to be hard to not buy some upgrades, but its wise it wait until you actually have the vehicle. Others know the exact production dates for the 2024 MY, if its been announced. You might ask what Bruce Campbell would do, I think he'd charge straight ahead!

What’s the rush with upgrades? What is the purpose? Do you want to look pimp going over a speed bump at a Starbucks drive through? Or are you really in an environment where you need a higher degree of functionality?

If off-roading is your end use wait until you get the vehicle. Drive it. Then determine.

Once I had the VIN I started acquiring mods. I already knew the build I was going for when I placed my Bronco order, so waiting didn't really make sense. I won't however order a leveling kit until I get my bumper/winch combo mounted to see how much drop there is. Ive got a set of KC lights for the A pillars as well. Waiting to order a roof rack once i have my Bronco. My Bronco should be at the dealer the end of this week.

I ordered parts the day after my bronco was built. That was a mistake I am being told it won’t ship for over a month and it’s only 1.5 hours away from my dealer. You never know if you will even get your vehicle even after it is built. A guy I work with told me he ordered a 22 F-150 receiver a built email but never got the truck. Dealer placed another order for a 23 and he had it in 3 weeks. The dealer has still never received the 22.
